Planetarium - Jet and Space Week Midlands 2026
The return of the cosmic mobile Planetarium! The RAF Museum is proud to partner once again with Space Odyssey to offer visitors a fun, educational trip to the stars this October Half Term!
Step inside the Galileo Dome to learn your asteroids from your comets, your moons from your black holes and even, your Mars from your Milky Way!
The Planetarium's recommended age is 6+. This activity is not recommended for under 4s.
Sessions at 10:30, 11:30, 13:00, 14:00 and 15:00 on 28, 29 and 30 October.
Both adults and children require a ticket for this activity.
Given the popularity of this activity, pre-booking a workshop ticket avoid disappointment.
Please note: this event is inside an inflatable Planetarium. There are some chairs reserved for those that need them, but visitors will be asked to sit on the floor (cushions will be provided). Visitors will also be asked to remove their shoes before entering the dome. Due to the nature of this activity, late admittance or readmittance is not allowed. Please make sure you arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your session time.
